Towers of the Sant Pere de Rodes, a Benedictine monastery on the Verdera mountain in the Sierra de Rodes, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea on the Costa Brava, Puerto de la Selva, Girona, Catalonia, Spain. The monastery was founded in 945 by monks who escaped Barbarian invasions with relics of saints, and was eventually sacked in the 17th century and deserted in the 18th century.
